I woke up to a series of emails from people congratulating me on a successful April Fool’s post in Oakland Local. 298 Facebook likes and counting.
Someone pointed out that I’m shown in the Transportation Camp West Streetfilm (in argyle at 02:58). Did you know 30 Rock’s Liz Lemon was a transit and bike advocate?
Now at the WOBO office, I’m coordinating our Bike to Work Day energizers stations, as well as our Bike in Movie night at the end of May. In a few minutes, I’m going to explain the concept of station “themes” to the assembled East Bay Bike to Work Day organizers.
And tomorrow morning at 10, I’m facilitating the Economic Development and Zoning working group in at the District 1 Town Hall Meeting.
And then Monday, my actual interview with Robert Raburn should run online, while I sit through the UC Berkeley planning department’s open house from the wait list. Why don’t any of these accomplishments translate over the Berkeley city line?
